| Each CD should only contain one category, i.e. one CD for Architecture/ Cityscape, another CD for Open, another CD for Sports/Action, etc. Each CD should have a folder for Beginning entries (labeled Beginning) and a folder for Advanced entries (labeled Advanced.)
To format entries, follow these steps:
1) Open the image in Photoshop. Under the File menu, select File Info.
2) In the Description field, enter -
Student Name
School Name
School City, State
Teacher Name
Division (Beginning/Advanced)
Category
3) Open Image Size under the Image menu.
4) If one or more of the pixel dimensions is larger than 2500 pixels, select the larger of the two numbers and reduce it to 2500 pixels. No other numbers need to be changed. Click OK.
5) Go to the File menu and select Save As.
6) Save the image as a JPEG file. The file name must not contain any periods or a \ or / - our suggestion is to name the file as lastname_B/A_Category_#.jpg (student last name, beginning or advanced, category name and image number) - i.e. Wilson_B_Sports_1.jpg. Image quality should be at maximum (12).
7) After all entries have been collected for a category, burn a CD of those entries. Questions? E-mail info@atpi.org for answers.
